Russian visa for Moroccan citizens (passport holders)

Contrary to what the informations seen on many websites providing invitation and visa support for the russian visa, the conditions for obtaining a Russian visa are no different for Moroccan citizens. Note that some travel agencies specializing in sending invitations tourist are not accredited for sending invitation to Moroccan passport holders (most of the travel agency). Moroccan citizen who want to get a tourist or business visa for Russia must meet prerequisites like having a valid passport and valid for at least 3 weeks after the expiration date of the visa Russian. In addition, they must obtain an official invitation as any European national or North American. Algerian nationals can obtain a Russian invitation "voucher" through several websites. Note however that some sites like www.russie-tourisme.com does not issue official letter for the visa, saying that Morocco is on a Black List like many other African countries. However, Russian authorities in place in Casablanca denied this information spread by many website. We invite Moroccan nationals to purchase their invitation letter with an accredited agency and calling the Russian embassy in Casablanca to have the latest information on visa application.

Documents to submit with your application in order to obtain a simple tourist visa:

• Original Passeport: While many Russian embassy or consulate requires a minimum of 6 months validity after the visa expires, the Russian Embassy in Casablanca differs. On the website of the Embassy, it only requires a valid three weeks after the end of the stay. Since this norm is specific to Moroccan passport holder, we highly recommend to check directly with the Russian Embassy in Casablanca to make sure it does not change.
• 3 passport pictures
• Filled application form
• Official invitation with seal of acceptance from the Ministry of External Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In order to get a multiple entry visa, you absolutly do a VIH test and join the result with your visa application
