Important information for travelers requesting a visa for Russia when in China (Beijing)
Citizens of all countries of the Schengen area and Israel, Finland, Estonia and Lithuania must provide proof of medical insurance for the duration of stay in Russia.
In order to apply for a tourism visa at the consular section of the embassy of Russia in Beijing, you must include:
1) Your passport valid at least 6 months after the date of departure of Russia
2) One passport picture in color
3) Printed application form from the website: https://visa.kdmid.ru
4) Voucher (invitation letter support) from an accredited travel agency in Russia
5) Airplane tickets (train or bus) showing your exact dates of entrance and departure of Russia
The Consular Section of the Russian Embassy in Beijing is not authorized to renew a visas issued by other agencies.
In the event that the consular section do not issue visas, invitations that come with your application will not be returned.
If your application for Russian visa is incomplete, your application will not be processed.
The Consular Division is authorized to request additional documents and information regarding your application.
For visitors traveling in groups all documents must be provided by each person.
The person requesting his Russian visa must make this request in person or authorize another person by notarized paper.
The total amount of visa fee must be paid when making the request.
If the application is refused, fees are not refunded
Applications for an emergency visa must be made before 11 o'clock
