Brazilians traveling to Russia will be pleased to learn that since July 7th of 2010, it’s now possible for these citizens to visit Russia without visa (for less than 90 days). The same right is also available for russian citizens wishing to travel in Brazil.
For any questions concerning the need of visa or about Russia, Brazilians citizens are invited to write directly to the Russian embassy in Brasilia or any other consulates of Russia on the brazilian territory.
The agreement to abolish the visa for Russia was signed by Dimitri Medveyev when he came in Rio de Janeiro on November 26th 2010.
Brazilians traveling to Russia and thats want to study, stay for more than 90, open a business or work will still need a visa.
