Documents needed to apply for tourism visa for Russia (AMERICAN passport holders)

  • Your AMERICAN passport with two blank pages (on which the Russian visa will be placed). In addition, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your planned journey.
  • One recent passport size picture (35mmx45mm). To prove that the picture is recent, a date-stamp from the place you had the picture taken will be sufficient.
  • A completed form for the Russian visa.
  • Your invitation support letter from an accredited travel agency such as ours.
  • A copy of your travel insurance coverage during your stay in Russia. (The insurance company must be accredited by the Russian Embassy in Washington DC, (or Russian consulates in Seattle, Houston, New York or San Francisco).
